TLS point clouds from two Mediterranean forest ecosystems

TLS data was collected in forest plots located in La Serra d'Espadà Natural Park (39.96° N and 0.41° W, Castelló, Spain). Raw data are provided here, however the full process of registration and georeference was performed by the authors and is available under request.Information about the devices:Trimble TX6 3D laser scanner (wavelength = 1,500 nm, angular accuracy = 80 μrad, systematic range error < 2 mm) Georeference: spheres georeferenced using a Post-Processed Kinematic (PPK) Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) strategy (Emlid Reach RS2+ as static base station and Emlid Reach RS3 as rover unit). Nominal horizontal accuracy of ±5 mm + 0.5 ppm and nominal vertical accuracy of ±10 mm + 1 ppm.
