Mizo Substance Use Disorder Oral Microbiome

This study includes oral microbiome samples collected from individuals with substance use disorders, specifically alcohol and opioid users within a small Mizo population residing in Northeast India. This endogamous population is characterised by a high reported prevalence of substance use. The dataset provides insight into the oral microbial composition associated with substance use in an understudied ethnic group, potentially contributing to broader understanding of microbiome variation across populations.
