Macroseismic intensity data related to 45 Italian earthquakes from 1985 to 2006

The dataset presented here includes the macroseismic intensity data (MDPs) of the 45 Italian earthquakes with Mw ranging from 2.5 to 5.8, dated from 1985 to 2006, and located over the whole Italian territory, 26 of which occurred in the Etna volcanic region. The selected earthquakes were several different datasets provided by various kinds of studies (reports of direct field surveys, data collections through questionnaires, and preliminary or final reviews). These data are the result of the integration of these different datasets in one intensity compilation including 9330 MDPs, both in EMS-98 and MCS scales.
