International migratory flows in Russia 1997-2022

Over 730 thousand people migrated to Russia from abroad in 2022, while approximately 668 thousand left the country. Over the observed period, the volume of international migrant arrivals to Russia was always greater than that of departures. During the period from 2001 to 2010, international migration in the country was significantly lower.
