This FAIRsharing record describes: PURR is an institutional data repository for the research community of Purdue University. PURR provides capabilities currently required by the NSF and other funding agencies for digital data management such as workflows and tools for collaborating on data-driven research, publishing and archiving data, and ensuring data security, fidelity, backup, and mirroring. PURR comes with a set of policies and functionalities that address privacy and confidentiality, intellectual property, preservation, and access and use of research data. Data published in PURR are assigned Digital Objects Identifiers (DOIs) and exposed to the web using open standards to maximize their discoverability and scholarly reuse. Data producers can review how often their published data are viewed, downloaded, and cited.
