Genotyping of global barnyard millet germplasm core collection. Echinochloa

This dataset contains genotyping-by-sequencing flowcell reads for a global core collection of barnyard millet (Echinochloa colona and Echinochloa crus-galli) germplasm. Samples were taken from the barnyard millet germplasm collection at the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT). DNA was extracted from lyophilized tissue using a modified CTAB procedure (Mace et al. 2003, Plant Mol Biol Report 231:459), digested with ApeKI restriction enzyme, and prepped for genotyping-by-sequencing (GBS) according to the protocol of Elshire et al (2011, PloS ONE 6(5): e19379). Samples were barcoded in 96-plex (with one blank) and run on 3 lanes of an Illumina HiSeq 2500.
