Transcriptomic profiling of whole fish body of dwarf medaka, Oryzias minutillus (Actinopterygii), inhabiting aquatic freshwater of naturally acidic environments

Here, the aims of this study was address profiles of transcriptome de novo assembly in whole body and bacterial microbiota in gill tissue of dwarf medaka from natural freshwater of acidic environments. These results suggest that differentially expressed genes and different bacteria in adult males of dwarf medaka may associate with freshwater acidification in natural ecosystem. Furthermore, this study supports and increases the comprehensive knowledge of transcriptome of freshwater teleost in low pH water of natural aquatic environment.
