Harpoon with T-Shaped Base XFP-111. Sanak Island, Alaska. XFP-111-85. Harpoon type found from NE Siberia to Alaska XFP-111 is a large multi-component site on the SE corner of Sanak Is. It has late Prehistoric houses dating after 1550 CE, a small occupation about 850-1050 CE, and most importantly, a deposit dated 2800-2200 BCE, has many characteristics related to the Ocean Bay Tradition of Kodiak Is. and the Alaska Peninsula. These artifacts were scanned with either a Faro Edge Arm or a Minolta Vivid 9i. Processed in Geomagic or Polyworks. 4-8 photos were used for texture in Geomagic Wrap. The Sanak Island artifacts are presented as a result of the research conducted under grants NSF 0326584, NSF 0508101, NSF 1139266, NSF 1321411. H. Maschner, PI.
