Diagnostic and Predictive Value of Hematologic Parameters for Hyperaldosteronism in Hypertensive Patients

This dataset supports a retrospective observational study investigating the diagnostic and predictive value of hematologic parameters in primary aldosteronism (PA) screening. It includes anonymized data from 169 hypertensive patients evaluated between January 2021 and December 2023. Variables include plasma aldosterone concentration (PAC), plasma renin activity (PRA), aldosterone-to-renin ratio (ARR), and hemogram-derived markers such as white blood cells, neutrophils, lymphocytes, platelets, and calculated indices (NLR, PLR, SII). The findings revealed a significant association between PAC and platelet count (PLT), suggesting that PLT may serve as a supplementary biomarker for detecting hyperaldosteronism.
