Gene expression profiles of each subset of human intestinal mononuclear phagocytes (MNPs)

MNPs play an important role in intestinal homeostasis. The interaction of intestinal metabolites with G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) expressed on human MNPs has not been well characterized. We report here that GPR31 is specifically expressed in cDC1 in human ileal MNPs by bulk RNA sequencing. Overall design: Macrophages, type1 conventional dendritic cells (cDC1), type2 conventional dendritic cells (cDC2) and plasmacytoid dendritic cells (pDC) from unaffected small intestinal mucosa were isolated by Fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS) and analyzed using RNAseq.
