Estimating the cost of predator avoidance in Australian fur seals

Raw accelerometer and dive depth data from11 adult female Australian fur seals from Kanowna Island, northern Bass Strait (south-eastern Australia) during their foraging trips to sea. Data used to calculate a Roll Index to assess vigilance behaviour while at sea (see paper for details).

本数据集收录了澳大利亚东南部巴斯海峡（Bass Strait）北部卡诺瓦岛（Kanowna Island）的11头成年雌性澳大利亚海狗（Australian fur seals）在海上觅食巡游期间采集的原始加速度计数据与潜水深度数据。依托该数据可计算翻滚指数（Roll Index），以此评估其海上警戒行为，详细信息参见相关论文。
