Four Bacillus anthracis strains were isolated from various sources in the Ukraine between 2010 and 2012 and sequenced on ONT and Illumina machines. For obtaining accurate genomes, a combinatorial approach was chosen for assembly, in which genomes are firstly constructed based on long-read ONT data and subsequently polished with short-read Illumina sequences.
