Developmental analysis of bone marrow neutrophil reveals populations specialised in expansion, trafficking and effector functions

RNAseq was performed on bone marrow GMP and neutrophil subsets to understand the difference in their transcriptome profile. The data here presents the distinct molecular signatures present in each stage of neutrophil development and the factors required for each stage of development. Bone marrow cells were depleted of B and T cells before fluroscence activated cell sorting with phenotypic markers presented in our paper. Bone marrow GMPs and Neutrophil subsets were sorted for sequencing. DEGs were obtained to observe if any signicant genes were affected. Pathway analysis was performed with the set of DEGs.
