Football Players Dataset from La Liga, Premier League and Bundesliga extracted from Transfermarkt

This dataset was created as part of an academic project in the Master's Degree in Data Science at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC). The dataset contains structured information about professional football players from three major European leagues: La Liga, Premier League and Bundesliga. The data was collected through web scraping from the publicly accessible website Transfermarkt. The dataset includes player-level information such as name, nationality, age, position, current club, league, squad number, agent, current market value, peak market value and date, transfer information, contract expiration date, number of trophies, and several performance statistics such as matches played, goals, assists, yellow cards, second yellow cards, red cards, average starting quota, average minutes played, and average goal participation. This dataset was created exclusively for academic and research purposes. It represents a partial and transformed subset of publicly available data and does not aim to replicate or replace the original Transfermarkt database. Source: Transfermarkt
