资源简介:
These maps show the distribution range of 16 selected food tree species within the boundaries of Burkina Faso together with the threat magnitude levels on a five-point scale from 'No threat'(0), 'Low'(1), 'Medium'(20), 'High'(300) to 'Very high'(4000). The threat maps depict ‘Overexploitation’, ‘Overgrazing’, ‘Fire’, ‘Climate change’, ‘Cotton production’, ‘Mining’ and ‘Combined threat'. The asci files were named as follows: first three letters of the genus name + first three letters of the species name + '_' + 'coded threat name'. The genus and species names of the 16 selected food tree species: Acacia macrostachya - Acacia senegal - Adansonia digitata - Annona senegalensis - Balanites aegyptiaca - Bombax costatum - Boscia senegalensis - Detarium microcarpum - Lannea microcarpa - Parkia biglobosa - Sclerocarya birrea - Strychnos spinosa - Tamarindus indica - Vitellaria paradoxa - Ximenia americana - Ziziphus mauritiana. Coded threat names: ox = ‘Overexploitation’ - og = ‘Overgrazing’ - ff = 'Fire’ - cc = ‘Climate change', - cp = ‘Cotton production’ - mi = ‘Mining’ - ctr = ‘Combined threat' For the methodology used, please see related research article "Spatially explicit multi-threat assessment of food tree species in Burkina Faso: An approach at fine scale" in PLoS ONE 12(9):e0184457
