Through peach pan-transcriptome analysis, we identified two categories of genes missing from the 'Lovell' v2.0 reference annotation: (1) 2,218 genes present in the 'Lovell' genome sequence but not annotated as coding sequences (unanno_gene_2218.fa), and (2) 533 novel genes completely absent from the 'Lovell' genome (newgene_533.fa). These results reveal both annotation gaps and genuine genomic divergence between the analyzed accessions and hngbanthe reference.
