TI1K Dataset (Thumb Index 1000 Hand & Fingertip Detection Dataset)

Thumb-Index 1000 (TI1K) is a dataset comprising 1000 hand images annotated with hand bounding boxes and the positions of the thumb and index fingertips. This dataset captures the natural movements of the thumb and index finger, making it suitable for mixed reality (MR) applications. The dataset only contains images of the thumbs and index fingers of both hands, all with a resolution of 640x480. All annotations for the training and test images are stored in the "label.txt" file located in the annotations folder.
