Tsawwassen - Swartz Bay Ferry Route Fluorometer Deployed 2002-10-21

The WET Labs Wetstar Fluorometer 718 was deployed on 2002-10-21 on Tsawwassen - Swartz Bay Ferry Route. This ferry route goes between Tsawwassen terminal in Vancouver, BC and the Swartz Bay terminal, Victoria BC. This device is a Fluorometer. Fluorometers measure the amount of stimulated electromagnetic radiation (fluorescence) produced by pulses of electromagnetic radiation emitted into the water column. It was deployed on a mobile platform. Data from this deployment were archived and made available through Ocean Networks Canada's Oceans 2.0 digital infrastructure, with quality assurance and derived data products following established practices.
