Dataset Description This corpus contains approximately 6,900 question-answer (QA) pairs extracted from publicly accessible documents related to the “Examen de Prueba de Acceso a la Universidad” (EvAU), Spain’s official university entrance exams. These assessments are a crucial component of the higher education admissions process and are administered across multiple autonomous communities in Spain. The dataset is provided in CSV format and includes the following columns: PDF: The filename of the document from which the QA pair was extracted. comunidad_autonoma: The Spanish autonomous community associated with the exam. website: The source URL where the document was retrieved. subject: The academic subject to which the question belongs. unit_title: The title of the document section that contains the answer. question: The exam question. answer: The corresponding answer to the question. content: The full text content of the document. paragraph: A passage (longer than the answer) where the answer is located. paragraph_num: The index (or indices) of the paragraph(s) within the document from which the passage was extracted. Note: This dataset includes QA pairs from a wide range of subjects, including scientific disciplines such as Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Some questions and answers may include complex formulas or symbols that may not be fully captured by standard text extraction tools, and thus could be prone to occasional formatting errors.
