资源简介:
The study was conducted in a Nothofagus mixed forest, in the Lanin
National Park, near San Martin de los Andes, Argentina. We identified
four types of microsites, or etree triaglesi defined by the canopy
intersection of three trees. 1) tree triangles dominated by three
N. dombeyi, 2) tree triangles dominated by three N. nervosa trees, 3)
tree triangles dominated by three N. obliqua trees, 4) tree triangles
consisting of a single N. dombeyi, a single N. nervosa and a single
N. obliqua. We collected soil cores for microarthropod extraction,
with a Tullgren-type extractor. Microarthropods were counted and
separated into recognizable taxonomic units (RTUs). We classified
specimens into different taxa, acari, collembola, and other
microarthropods. The acari and the collembola were determined at
family level. The information was collected in January 2003 during a
field expedition to San Marin de los Andes, Neuquen Province,
Argentina. These data were obtained for project CRN12 (The Role of
Biodiversity and Climate in the Functioning of Ecosystems: A
Comparative Study or Grasslands, Savannas, and Forests), which has
Dr. Osvaldo E. Sala as PI.
