NSW Foundation Spatial Data Framework - Land Cover - Land Use

Dataset of Land Use between June 2000 and June 2007 for the whole of New South Wales. Land use polygons are classified to both NSW classification (LUMAP) and National standards (ALUM, Australian Land Use and Management).\r\n\r\nThe ALUM classification is based upon the modified Baxter and Russell classification and presented according to the specifications contained in Baxter and Russell Classification.\r\n\r\nThe date of the data set is set as the land use occurring at the time the satellite imagery was acquired, which can range from 1999 to 2006. The V2 dataset was updated in May 2011 to include values in the attribute fields of Source, Source Date, Source Scale, Reliability and LU Mapping Date and is ALUM Version 7 compatible.

新南威尔士州全境2000年6月至2007年6月土地利用数据集。土地利用多边形同时采用新南威尔士州本地分类体系（LUMAP）以及国家级标准体系——澳大利亚土地利用与管理（Australian Land Use and Management，缩写ALUM）进行分类。

ALUM分类体系基于改良的巴克斯特-拉塞尔（Baxter and Russell）分类法，并严格遵循《巴克斯特-拉塞尔分类法》中的相关技术规范进行编制。

本数据集的时间基准为卫星影像获取时刻对应的土地利用现状，影像获取时间跨度为1999年至2006年。该数据集V2版本于2011年5月完成更新，新增了来源（Source）、来源日期（Source Date）、来源比例尺（Source Scale）、可信度（Reliability）以及土地利用制图日期（LU Mapping Date）等属性字段，且兼容ALUM第7版。
