Zooplankton biomass measured from net tows conducted during ongoing monthly cruises, from April 1994 to December 2022, at the Bermuda Atlantic Time-series Study (BATS) site in the Sargasso Sea

This dataset includes measurements of zooplankton biomass from net tows conducted during ongoing monthly cruises, from April 1994 to December 2022, at the Bermuda Atlantic Time-series Study (BATS) site (31° 40' N 64° 10'W) in the Sargasso Sea. Mesozooplankton were collected by oblique tows using a rectangular frame net with 202 micrometer (µm) mesh. Samples from tows were immediately split on board for subsequent wet and dry weight measurments.

本数据集涵盖了1994年4月至2022年12月期间，于马尾藻海（Sargasso Sea）百慕大大西洋时间序列研究（Bermuda Atlantic Time-series Study, BATS）站点（北纬31°40′，西经64°10′）开展的持续月度科考航次中，通过网拖采样获取的浮游动物（zooplankton）生物量测量数据。中型浮游动物（mesozooplankton）通过斜拖网方式采集，所用设备为带有202微米（µm）网目的矩形框架网。拖网采集的样品会在科考船上即刻进行分装，以供后续开展湿重与干重测量。
