The purpose of an admission register was to record basic details about children admitted to the school and their parents or guardians. The registers were also used to record the progress of the children through various classes and the date of their leaving the school. Girls and boys are listed on opposite pages in order of admission. However the register for 1958 to 1973 has both boys and girls on the same page. These volumes contain information pertaining to each student including: date of admission; pupil's name; date of birth; religious denomination; name of previous school and date of leaving. The following details are recorded about the child's parents or guardians: name, residence and occupation. The pupil's date of admission to each subsequent grade, date of leaving the school and any occupation entered into on leaving school is also recorded. The entries in the Infants admission register (1957-1958) have been copied to the admission register (1958-1973) except for students that had left the school between the year 1957 and 1958.Custody HistoryThis series was previously held by the School House Museum at Ryde.
