This paper examines a sample of China's A-share non-financial listed companies from 2007 to 2021, encompassing 244 cities and 3,603 companies over a 15-year period. Data on these companies were sourced from the Cathay Pacific database (CSMAR) and their respective annual reports, with delisted firms excluded from the analysis.
