资源简介:
Individual CPTs -- Supplemental Tables 1-6.
Supplemental Tables 1-6:
Table footnotes. Displayed rates represent the calculated median and associated IQR across all dermatologist-payer-plan negotiated price points for the respective subgroup/service type and payer. Shown are summary statistics for six commonly performed dermtology services (CPT: 99203, 11900, 17110, 17000, 17261, 11104). National Provider Identification numbers were linked to the National File to determine dermatologist practice setting and location; practice setting/location for a small number of providers could not be identified and therefore the number of negotiated rates for each subgroup may not sum to overall totals. Rurality was determined through 2023 RUCC codes. Significance of differences in distributions across subgroups are determined through a Kruskal-Wallis test, with P<0.05 indicating significance.
CPT = Current Procedural Terminology; IQR = Interquartile Range; RUCC = Rural-Urban Continuum Codes; UHC = United Healthcare.

Pooled CPTs -- Supplemental Table 7 and Supplemental Figure 1.
Supplemental Table 7:
Table footnotes. Aggregate values reflect the median of all negotiated price points across the included CPT codes within each subgroup, rather than CPT-specific estimates. Shown are summary statistics for assessed CPT codes, including: 99203 (new patient office visit), 99213 (established patient office visit), 11900 (intralesional injection), 17110 (benign Destruction), 17000 (premalignant destruction), 17261 (malignant destruction), 11102 (tangential biopsy), and 11104 (punch
biopsy). National Provider Identification numbers were linked to the National File to determine dermatologist practice setting and location; practice setting/location for a small number of providers could not be identified and therefore the number of negotiated rates for each subgroup may not sum to overall totals. Rurality was determined through 2023 RUCC codes. Medicare national payment rates include non- facility rates as determined through the 2024B Physician Fee Schedule. Significance of differences in distributions across subgroups are determined through a Kruskal-Wallis test, with P<0.05 indicating
significance.
CPT = Current Procedural Terminology; IQR = Interquartile Range; RUCC = Rural-Urban Continuum
Codes; UHC = United Healthcare.
Supplemental Figure 1:
Distribution of reimbursement rates by insurer and CPT code. Each group of
boxplots represents the variation in reimbursement rates across CPT codes and insurers. The additional
“All” category summarizes the combined data. The figure demonstrates the distribution of reimbursement
ranges in the eight common dermatology CPT codes.
