Dataset for: Late blight resistant potato varieties for the tropical highlands and mid-elevation

With the objective of selecting potato clones with high resistance to late blight and good quality for frying in French fires, 6 experiments were planted with 8 advanced clones from population B groups B3C1 and B3C2, in contrasting localities in Peru. The clones CIP395123.6, CIP396026.1 and CIP396034.103, were selected for their high tuber yield, good quality for french fries, high content of dry matter, low content of reducing sugars and adapts to the various localities of Peru, these clones will be releasse as new varieties in 2022 in Peru.

本研究旨在筛选兼具高抗晚疫病（late blight）与优良炸条品质的马铃薯无性系，于秘鲁不同生态立地条件的区域设置6组试验，共栽种源自B群体B3C1与B3C2亚组的8个优系无性系。其中无性系CIP395123.6、CIP396026.1及CIP396034.103因块茎产量高、炸条品质优良、干物质含量高、还原糖含量低且适配秘鲁各类种植环境，将于2022年作为新品种在秘鲁正式推广。
