Microorganisms of the phyllosphere of the two most dominant tree species in Europe (Fagus sylvatica L. and Pinus sylvestris

We characterize the microbial composition of the phyllosphere in European beech (Fagus sylvatica) and Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris) forests. The project include data from thirteen forests selected across an environmental gradient from Fennoscandia to the Mediterranean basin.
