Indicators of Catchment Condition in the Intensive Land Use Zone of Australia – biota Condition Sub-index

\n\nIt should be noted that this data is now somwhat dated!\n\nThe biota Condition Sub-index was based on six indicators:\n\n * Native vegetation fragmentation;\n * Native vegetation extent;\n * Protected areas;\n * Road density;\n * Feral animal density; and\n * Weed density.\n\nAreas with relatively good condition are confined to a narrow strip of the\neastern ranges, south-west Tasmania, and the less intensively used Northern\nTerritory, Cape York and inland areas.\n\nData are available as:\n\n * continental maps at 5km (0.05 deg) cell resolution for the ILZ;\n * spatial averages over CRES defined catchments (CRES, 2000) in the ILZ;\n * spatial averages over the AWRC river basins in the ILZ.\n\nSee [further metadata](http://data.daff.gov.au/anrdl/metadata_files/pa_iccilr9ab\n__07421axx.xml) for more detail.\n\n

本次构建所采用的生物状况分指数（Biota Condition Sub-index）基于六项指标：
* 原生植被破碎化程度；
* 原生植被覆盖范围；
* 保护区覆盖情况；
* 道路密度；
* 归化野生动物密度；
* 杂草密度。

生态状况相对优良的区域仅局限于狭长的东部山脉地带、塔斯马尼亚州西南部，以及开发强度较低的北领地、约克角半岛与内陆区域。

本数据集可通过以下形式获取：
* 适用于ILZ区域、分辨率为5公里（0.05度）的大陆尺度网格地图；
* ILZ区域内由CRES划定的集水区空间均值数据（CRES, 2000）；
* ILZ区域内由AWRC划定的流域空间均值数据。
