The average interest rate of variable-rate cash ISA deposits in the United Kingdom (UK) were lower in February 2024 than in October of the previous year. In fact, the interest rate of that type of cash ISAs peaked that month at 3.37 percent. In contrast, the average interest rate of variable-rate cash ISA deposits amounted to just 0.13 percent in March 2021.
