NGS analysis results

The Applied Bioinformatics group generates genomics data and results on the terabyte scale. These datasets are raw genomic reads from population-scale sequencing projects of crops as diverse as canola, chickpea, wheat, but also non-crops such as seagrasses and Amborella. The results of these studies are whole genome assemblies, population diversity markers, gene prediction sets, as well as results of statistical analyses of crop diversity. The creation of this research data collection has been funded from different sources in different years. Since 2008, there are several million dollars from ARC Linkage grants, an Australia-India Strategic Research Fund, an ARC LIEF grant, and three grants from the GRDC.
