Temperature profile data were collected using XBT casts from OLEANDER, TAI HE, SEA-LAND ENTERPRISE, and other platforms in a world wide distribution. Data were collected from 07 November 2001 to 24 July 2002. Data were submitted and collected by Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory (AOML) with support from the NOAA Shipboard Environmental Data Acquisition System Program (SEAS).本数据集收录的温度廓线数据，通过XBT（投弃式温深仪，Expendable Bathythermograph）投放观测获取，观测平台涵盖OLEANDER、TAI HE、SEA-LAND ENTERPRISE及全球分布的其他作业平台。数据采集时段为2001年11月7日至2002年7月24日。本数据集由大西洋海洋与气象实验室（Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory, AOML）负责提交与整理归集，相关工作得到美国国家海洋和大气管理局（National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, NOAA）船舶环境数据采集系统项目（Shipboard Environmental Data Acquisition System Program, SEAS）的支持。
