VPRS 7642 Registered Plans

This series is a collection mainly of railway and tramway plans submitted to Parliament by various companies which were authorised by the Victorian government to build railways and tramways in different parts of Victoria, particularly in the City of Melbourne. These plans of railway and tramway lines are connected with various Railway and Tramway Bills. In some cases the Book of Reference containing the names of the owners, lessees and occupiers of the lands through which the line was intended to pass or which were required for the purpose of the undertaking is also attached.The series also contain maps of various administrative units e.g. State of Victoria, City of Melbourne, the Districts of Geelong, Ballarat, Bendigo, Counties of Buln Buln, Moira and Lowen. Various Victorian Electoral maps are also included in the series.Parliament Garden designs and Melbourne Exhibition Building plans are also located in this series.

本系列藏品主要收录由多家经维多利亚州政府授权、可在维多利亚州全境（尤以墨尔本市为重点）修建铁路与有轨电车线路的公司提交给议会的铁路及有轨电车线路规划图纸。此类铁路与有轨电车线路规划图纸均关联多项铁路及有轨电车法案。部分附件中还附带了《参考名册》（Book of Reference），其中列明了线路规划途经或因该工程所需占用土地的所有者、承租者与使用者姓名。本系列藏品同时收录各类行政区划地图，涵盖维多利亚州全境、墨尔本市、吉朗（Geelong）、巴拉腊特（Ballarat）、本迪戈（Bendigo）行政区，以及布尔恩布尔（Buln Buln）、莫伊拉（Moira）与洛恩（Lowen）郡的地图。本系列藏品还包含多份维多利亚州选举地图。此外，本系列藏品中亦收录议会花园（Parliament Garden）设计方案与墨尔本会展大楼（Melbourne Exhibition Building）规划图纸。
