The dataset about Mental Health and Its Influencing Factors Among Children Attending Top-Tier Children's Hospital

This dataset comprises scale data from pediatric patients who visited Shanxi Provincial Children's Hospital between March 2022 and March 2024. It includes four questionnaires: the Children's Depression Inventory (CDI), the Screen for Child Anxiety Related Emotional Disorders (SCARED), the Children's Self-Concept Scale (CSCS), and the Family Environment Scale (FES). These questionnaires were completed by the child patients and their guardians during clinical visits. A total of 438 cases were initially collected, with 405 valid cases retained after excluding responses containing extreme values, insincere answers, or questionnaires with extensive omissions, yielding an effective rate of 92.5%.In this dataset:The Children's Depression Inventory (CDI) consists of 18 items;The Screen for Child Anxiety Related Emotional Disorders (SCARED) contains 41 items;The Children's Self-Concept Scale (CSCS) includes 80 items;The Family Environment Scale (FES) comprises 90 items;Collectively, the questionnaires encompass 229 items across all scales, generating a total of 92,745 data fields.
