We report the first isolation and characterization of a novel temperate phage against clinical multidrug-resistant Corynebacterium striatum with strong tolerance and good biosafety, which lays a foundation for future medical research to use phages as diagnostic and therapeutic vectors, target pathogenic or symbiotic bacteria, and induce immune modulation.
