资源简介:
This dataset contains assembled Genotype-by-Sequence reads for Bayou Darters (Nothonotus rubrus). The goal of the study for which these data were collected was to assess general population structure across the range of this endemic species, as well as to assess whether fluvial erosional processes were affecting gene flow. Bayou Darters have shifted their range upstream from the mainstem Bayou Pierre into the tributary network in response to extensive in-channel erosion and landform evolution, potentially leading to dispersal and gene flow fragmentation. Samples (n = 135 fish) were collected throughout the contemporary known distribution of the species. Tissues were collected via fin clips in the field, prepped with the EcoT22 restriction enzyme, and sequenced on an Illumina Hi-Seq platform. Sequence reads were aligned to an Orangethroat Darter (Etheostoma spectabile) genome.
