资源简介:
Organic-based materials have found applications in a wide variety of devices, including light emitting diodes, photovoltaics, and field effect transistors. These take advantage of the low cost, chemical tunability, and mechanical flexibility of this class of materials. Vanadium tetracyanoethylene (V[TCNE]x~2) exhibits ferimagnetic order well above room temperature (TN > 600K), and an ultra-narrow ferromagnetic resonance (FMR) linewidth , making it a competetive alternative to best-in-class inorganic materials. Despite its popularity, little is known about the microscopic nature of the magnetism in this material. Here, we propose to measure magnetic excitations on a solvothermally produced powder sample of V[TCNE] x~2, in order to obtain as much information as possible about the excitation in this material as is presently achievable with neutrons given sample limitations.
