We describe microorganisms isolated from autochthonous microbiota present in a regional feed product, Lactobacillus paracasei IBR07 (Lacticaseibacillus paracasei) and Kazachstania unispora IBR014 (Saccharomyces unisporum). Both microorganisms can resist and persist at low pH. Therefore, potential pathways involved in acid response were analyzed to improve our knowledge in this response. Both strains are considered safe for animal feed, in this study data mining analysis predict for these microorganisms to be non-human pathogens. Thus, the identification of species that can improve the final quality (sensorial and nutritional) of fermented feed constitutes a biotechnological challenge to increase animal production
