Ucrit was measured via a step velocity test at six temperatures. Adult males were individually identified via elastomer tags, and housed in mixed-strain tanks of up to six fish. Each tank encountered each test temperature (16, 20, 24, 28, 31 and 34C) in a random order.
Morphological data was recorded from digital photographs of the lateral view of these same fish at three different time points in the experiment. Images were randomised and 12 landmarks recorded; standard length was determined from the landmarks, and subsequently the data was aligned to account for size. A set of previously analysed 10 inter-landmark distances were then calculated.
Readme files are provided for both, containing further details about all variables included in the datasets
