Replication package for "Heat and recorded assaults in France, 1996-2019: local seasonality or temperature shock?"

Replication package for the article "Heat and recorded assaults in France, 1996-2019: local seasonality or temperature shock?". The package contains the raw data (état 4001 monthly departmental series of recorded crime from the French Ministry of the Interior, Météo-France station-day files, INSEE population and territorial series), the intermediate files, the department-month estimation panel (95 departments, 1996-2021), all Python scripts used to reconstruct and validate the estimation panel from the raw files and to reproduce every table and figure of the paper and of its online appendix, a master script, the exported results and a SHA-256 manifest of every file.
