资源简介:
This dataset contains X-ray CT images from Experiment 3 of the study titled "Drainage, Imbibition, and Trapping Behavior of Hydrogen versus Methane in Fractured Limestone from a Natural Gas Storage Aquifer in Belgium." Experiment 3 was conducted on a fractured reservoir rock sample with a diameter of 25 mm, a fracture width of 450 µm, and a length of 45 mm. Due to the limited field of view of the scanner, the sample was scanned in two parts—top and bottom—for the water phase. Fluids (gas or brine) were injected from the top of the vertically mounted sample, and multiphase flow scans were performed exclusively on the top part (near the injection point). The dataset includes experiments for drainage and imbibition using hydrogen, methane, and a 50:50 hydrogen-methane mixture (based on partial pressure).
