IMOS SOOP Sea Surface Temperature data collected on the Merchant Vessel Iron Yandi

This dataset contains Sea Surface Temperature (SST) underway observations collected on trips of a merchant vessel Iron Yandi (callsign VNVR).Bulk SST is measured by SBE48 hull contact sensor. The sensor is installed in the engine compartment and its depth is varied from 1 to 10 meters (depending on loading of vessel). SST data (along with meteorological data from ship AWS) are instantaneous, collected every 1 hour.The data are quality controlled by the Bureau of Meteorology. The daily data files are available from eMII shortly after 0000 UTC.

本数据集包含商船"Iron Yandi"（呼号VNVR）历次航行期间采集的海表温度（Sea Surface Temperature, SST）走航观测数据。整体海表温度（Bulk SST）由SBE48型船体接触式传感器测得，该传感器安装于船舶机舱内，其浸入水深随船舶装载状态变动，范围为1至10米。海表温度数据（同步配套船舶自动气象站（Automatic Weather Station, AWS）采集的气象数据）为瞬时观测值，采集频率为每小时1次。所有数据均已由气象局（Bureau of Meteorology）完成质量控制。每日数据文件可在世界协调时（Coordinated Universal Time）0000点后不久通过eMII平台获取。
