资源简介:
MOS-1 was launched on February 19, 1987 carrying the MESSR
(Multi-spectrum Electronic Scanning Radiometer), VTIR (Visible and
Thermal Infrared Radiometer) and MSR (Microwave Scanning
Radiometer). MOS-1 is Japan's first earth observation satellite. A
later satellite (MOS-1b) carries the same sensors.
The VTIR is a sensor intended to observe the earth by using one
visible band and three infrared bands so as to obtain data of cloud
distribution in the visible band and obtain data of the earth
surfaces (sea surfaces) and temperature distribution of upper cloud and
data of vapor in the upper air regions in the infrared bands.
MOS-1/1b data have been received not only at NASDA/EOC but also at
foreign or overseas ground station such as ESA, CCRS(Canada), CSIRO
(Australia), Thailand and the antarctic station (Showa station).
