Despicable “other” and innocent “us”: Emotion politics in the time of the pandemic

The file contains 227 articles that we collect from HQSB's public WeChat account between January 1st, 2020 (the day after the World Health Organization was first informed of a cluster of cases) and February 16th, 2021 (the date when our data collection ended). We select the articles that contain the keyword \"新冠\" (Covid) and contain at least one mention of a foreign country to ensure their international focus. And it contains 7 files that include our texts subject to content analysis.

本数据集包含227篇文章，均采集自HQSB的微信公众账号，采集时段为2020年1月1日（世界卫生组织首次获悉聚集性病例的次日）至2021年2月16日（本数据集采集截止日期）。我们筛选出其中包含关键词“新冠（Covid）”且至少提及一个外国国家的文章，以确保其聚焦国际议题。此外，本数据集还包含7份用于开展内容分析的文本文件。
