SELECTION OF THE OPTIMAL COMPOSITION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGY OF THE "SOMNILAKS NIIVS PHYTOTEA" DIETARY SUPPLEMENT WITH A SEDATIVE EFFECT

This article presents the rationale for the optimal pharmaceutical composition of the “Somnilaks NIIVS Phytotea” dietary supplement (DS) with sedative and anxiolytic effects, based on local medicinal plant raw materials, and the improvement of the production process intended for industrial-scale packaging. During the study, the technological and pharmaco-technical properties of the sedative herbal mixture—fractional composition, bulk and tapped densities, angle of repose, Carr Index, Hausner Ratio, and residual moisture—were analyzed using modern international pharmacopoeial methods (Ph. Eur., USP). The results demonstrated that the phytocomposition has good flowability and uniform dosing characteristics, that the developed TI-1–TI-7 technological regulation is appropriate, and that the quality parameters of the finished product fully comply with the requirements of the applicable regulatory and technical documentation (TD).
