This copy begins abruptly in the prose preface, on fol. 1a, with the words:..... در آسمان بر مساكين گشاده دارد الخ, corresponding to No. 262 (952 above), fol. 2a, l. 3 ab infra (one leaf missing). Beginning of the mathnawî, on fol. 3a.

At the end on fol. 77a a short epilogue in prose, giving an account of the six maḳâlas into which the poem is divided,- viz.: 1.عرائس الفكر و مجالس الذكر (here beginning on fol. 3a). 2 معراج العقول (here on fol. 6b). 3.فى وصف بلاد عراق و همدان و مدينة السّلام بغداد و مدائح اصحاب هؤلآء البلاد تسمّى سبحة الاوتاد الخ (here on fol. 23a) 4.فى اوصاف الكوفة و المدينة و هؤلآء البلاد و يسمّى موارد الاوراد و خزانة الاوتاد (here on fol. 33a). 5. فى وصف مدينة الرسول الخ و هى تسمّى بهداية الهدى الخ الى المهدى (in the epilogue مدينة الهدى الى المهدى) (here on fol. 42b). 6 فى وصف الشام و الموصل و اصحاب هؤلآء البلاد الخ (here on fol. 53a),- and the number of baits in each.

Dated, as it seems, A.H. 1078 (A.D. 1667, 1668).
