This dataset contains the underlying data for the manuscript “Study on a High Precision Alignment System with Dual Cameras” submitted to PLOS ONE. It includes the raw measurement data for point-to-point paths, trajectory paths, and positioning paths, as well as the corresponding position errors for each path, which were used to analyze the performance of different control methods.The data files correspond to the figures in the manuscript as follows:S1_Data.xlsx: Raw axial trajectory data for the point-to-point control system (Fig 17).S2_Data.xlsx: Axial position error data from point-to-point experiments (Fig 18).S3_Data.xlsx: Axial movement trajectory data for each axis (Fig 19).S4_Data.xlsx: Axial position error data from trajectory-tracking experiments (Fig 20).S5_Data.xlsx: Axis-wise trajectory and velocity data of the XYZ platform (Fig 21).S6_Data.xlsx: Axial trajectory data from image-based positioning (Fig 25).S7_Data.xlsx: Axial position error data from image-based trajectory-tracking experiments (Fig 26).Each data file includes the raw measurements and processed results used to generate its corresponding figure.
