Therefore, the position of the feature instance will be within 0.5mm at map scale for 90% of the well-defined points. That is, 1:500 = 0.25m, 1:2000 = 1m, 1:4000 = 2m, 1:25000 = 12.5m, 1:50000 = 25m and 1:100000 = 50m. 本交通数据集可应用于：应急服务保障、地图绘制与海图导航、资源与服务规划及交付、资产管理、基础设施规划与开发。

公共道路网络的持续更新依托州级与地方道路管理机构提供的数据、土地登记流程成果、最新影像及其他可用源数据。森林、公园及保护地官有土地内的道路、通行便道及防火道数据，由相关托管机构提供数据进行维护。私有产权道路与便道将通过最新可用影像进行周期性更新维护。交通主题内的其他要素（如铁路、渡轮、航空设施、道口及交通管控设施）则长期整合多源数据进行更新。

空间服务部门为本基础主题数据集的权威可信来源，可完整、实时、精准覆盖新南威尔士州全域。本项目旨在整合最优可用数据并开展持续迭代更新，以满足核心数据用户的需求。新南威尔士州交通主题道路数据符合澳大利亚国家道路工作组的绝大多数规范要求。持续优化数据模型与数据内容，将进一步保障总体目标的达成。交通主题数据集将通过系统优化铁路、水上通航及航空数据网络与基础设施得到进一步完善。
