Observed GEM and DGM data in the Arctic Ocean

This dataset includes the observed concentrations of both atmospheric gaseous elemental mercury and marine dissolved gaseous mercury, and the corresponding auxiliary data. This dataset was acquired in the Arctic Ocean in summertime, 2023. This dataset also includes Generalized Additive Model (GAM) code implemented in R to simulate the GEM concentration in the Arctic Ocean during the corresponding cruise and assess the relative contributions of individual variables.
