Heavy rains over the last few weeks have led to severe flooding across Malawi. To date, an estimated 173.700 people have been displaced. The floods have also caused extensive damage to crops, livestock and infrastructure. The southern districts of Nsanje, Chikwawa, Phalombe and Zomba are the most affected. Some areas are inaccessible, impeding the conduction of assessments.<br>
