The Victory at The Orsay Museum, Paris, France

This sculpture is by Émile Antoine Bordelles and he was an influential and prolific French sculptor, painter, and teacher. This was one in a few sculptures which stands on the terrace outside the Musée d'Orsay in the rue de Lille. He completed the final model in 1922, this comprising the General astride a horse and four allegorical figures-La Victoire, La Force, La Liberté and l'Eloquence. This object is part of Scan The World.
